The HDD caddy with a hard disk inside can work as a 2nd drive by replacing the current optical-drive in your notebook computer.

Compatibility

There are 2 standard types notebook CD-Rom in the market: 9.5mm & 12.7mm height

This is suitable for notebook computers with 12.7mm height SATA optical drive

Hard disk drive need to be 2.5" SATA interface
