System cooling was foremost in design philosophy for the Element V Black Edition and this full tower boasts a formidable line up of cooling options, so you can personalise cooling to system requirement. This chassis supports 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" tubing for liquid cooling and has a rear 120mm turbo fan (1400rpm @ 17dBA), dual front 120mm fans, one of which offers colourshift (1400rpm @ 17dBA), the other being a standard turbo fan (1400rpm @ 17dBA). On the chassis top, you'll find a 200mm colourshift fan (800rpm @ 14dBA) and included on the side panel is a 230mm colourshift fan (800rpm @ 15dBA). Positions are available for further cooling fans to be installed in the rear (50mm) and top (200mm), offering excellent expandability to cool even the hottest PC, or to tailor system noise output to personal taste. The mainboard tray has an enlarged CPU cooler mounting hole, so removing the mobo to change coolers shouldn't be required, even if the cooler requires a bracket to be installed under the board. This chassis is also deep enough to easily accommodate an over length videocard, including a GTX295. Featuring massive storage options with six 3.5" and one 2.5" internal HDD or SSD bays, along with five 5.25" bays for all your optical drive needs, fan controllers or drive bay design liquid cooling systems, such as Thermaltakes' excellent Bigwater series. The Element V Black Edition has four front USB 2 slots, one eSATA port and HD Audio, it is compatible with micro ATX, standard ATX and extended ATX motherboards and this chassis is constructed from steel, with a plastic front bezel. The front bezel and optical drive bay covers all have dust filters.
